Waterloo Automotive has been the best auto service center in Waterloo for a long time. The service is first rate, the employees are always considerate and polite, and they are not condescending toward women. They do not attempt to up-sell for services that are not critically needed. Highly recommend.

This visit was for a routine oil change on my wife's car. We've been going to Waterloo Automotive for probably over 10 years. They give honest assessments and don't try to push any work that's not necessary. Not too often you can say this, but it's always a pleasant experience here. The guys at Waterloo Automotive helped me figure out what to get repaired now, based on my budget, and what I could save up for down the road. They worked with me on the payment and made me feel like they appreciate me as a loyal customer. They don't charge me for work if they feel unable to do it for whatever reason

I had a routine oil change on Tuesday June 17, 2025. While my car was being serviced the mechanic (Sean) called me to let me know my brakes were leaking. He told me I could wait until my next oil change to have them fixed. When I told him my father & I were taking the car on a trip that up coming weekend he offered to squeeze the brakes being fixed in with my oil change that same day. My car was fixed & ready for pickup by 4:30pm the same day as my appointment.

This place is awesome! These folks have worked on multiple cars of ours and are always incredibly friendly, and most importantly....HONEST. I never feel like I am being pushed into unnecessary repairs or costs. They always take their time and explain everything, and on the rare occasion they can't fix the issue, they make sure to send me to someone who is just as honest as them who can help.
